The British Council champions the creative economy as a key driver of sustainable and inclusive growth. We aim to support the development of Iraq’s burgeoning creative economy by connecting ideas and experiences from the UK with the sector in Iraq to co-create activities that improve infrastructure, empower local creative talent, develop policy, and increase greater international understanding of the value of the creative and cultural industries. We with creative individuals, institutions, and policymakers, and focus on building networks and supporting collaboration, for long-term impact and mutual benefit.
